Her heels clicking on the floor as she entered the Great Hall, Bellatrix Black was not in a good mood today. There wasn’t a particular reason, Bella was never in a good mood. She slid onto a bench in the Great Hall glaring at everyone that looked at her. The only reason she ever came in her was to see her family and get a little food before classes. Otherwise, she hated being in the Great Hall. She hated having to be in the same room as all three of the other houses.
Sighing, she picked up a slice of toast who yet another victim to her glare as she bit into it. The start of the school year had been hectic, even for someone who put minimum effort into their work. It was hard settling back into everything, especially when Bellatrix didn’t even want to be there. Hogwarts was never a place that she was extremely excited to get back to. She didn’t entirely mind going to school but there were some, no, a lot, of aspects of school life that she didn’t enjoy.
Monday mornings never boded well with her but it was something that Bella was going to have to deal with. Charms was her first lesson of the day and she wasn’t particularly looking forward to it. A debate had started in Bella’s head whether she would even turn up to her first lesson of the day. It was leaning more towards her not turning up. The teachers never really seemed to say anything to her. The most was a detention and there was nothing else said about it. The Black name was not one that people liked to mess around with which was why Bella managed to get away with so much.
